Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-year strategic foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2026 market disruptions
- Author executive briefings on emerging tech (quantum computing, biotech fusion, neurointerfaces)
- Design and conduct stakeholder workshops to align leadership on future-state roadmaps
- Monitor global policy shifts and geopolitical risks affecting long-term business strategy
- Establish KPIs for innovation maturity and track progress against future-state benchmarks
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and publish thought leadership
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, corporate innovation, or futurist research with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technology assessment (AI, quantum, synthetic biology)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or equivalent field
- Published research or patents in predictive analytics or innovation methodology
- Proficiency in foresight tools (Delphi, STEEP, cross-impact matrices)
- Experience leading enterprise-level transformation initiatives
- Exceptional storytelling skills with executive presentation experience
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-state strategy implementation
