Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis across biotech, AI, quantum computing, and climate tech domains
- Develop strategic foresight frameworks using scenario planning and Delphi methodologies
- Produce quarterly Future Briefings for executive decision-making and investor communications
- Architect innovation pipelines for 2026 product launches and market entries
- Manage cross-functional Future Task Forces with engineering, marketing, and policy teams
- Represent the company at global futurist forums and industry summits
- Establish KPIs for measuring long-term strategic impact and adaptation readiness
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic innovation or futurist consulting with Fortune 500 clients
- Published thought leadership on exponential technologies or societal megatrends
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP analysis)
- Proven experience translating foresight into commercialization strategies
- Strong network of futurist researchers and technology pioneers
- Exceptional communication skills for presenting complex futures to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic foresight implementations
