Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 2026 technology foresight frameworks using scenario planning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional teams in identifying exponential technology opportunities (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Produce strategic white papers and executive briefings on future market disruptions
- Partner with C-suite executives to align innovation initiatives with long-term business objectives
- Curate and maintain Horizon's Future Intelligence database using proprietary predictive analytics
- Represent the company at global innovation summits and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategy consulting, R&D, or innovation leadership with Fortune 500 exposure
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (generative AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from AC/FS or similar institution)
- Published thought leadership in peer-reviewed journals or industry publications
- Experience with horizon scanning and Delphi methodologies
- Exceptional presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-oriented initiatives
