Responsibilities
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology landscapes
- Develop scenario-based strategic plans for climate, AI, and biotech disruptions
- Lead cross-functional workshops with C-suite executives on future-proofing
- Build predictive models for market shifts using proprietary foresight tools
- Author white papers and thought leadership on sustainable futures
- Manage innovation pipeline with venture partners and academic institutions
- Advose on regulatory frameworks for emerging tech deployment
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or tech R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial success
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Published author in futurist/innovation thought leadership
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFSD, APF) preferred
- Experience with scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Shell Two Loops)
- Portfolio of 3+ future-strategy implementations with measurable ROI
