Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts through 2026+
- Develop multi-year innovation roadmaps aligned with organizational growth vectors
- Facilitate C-level strategy sessions on exponential technology adoption
- Build quantitative forecasting models for emerging market opportunities
- Champion cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and venture teams
- Author thought leadership on future-proofing business models
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring innovation ROI and strategic agility
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, innovation management, or futurist research
- Proven track record of translating foresight into commercial outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least 3 exponential tech domains (AI, quantum, biotech, etc.)
- Advanced degree in strategic foresight, innovation management, or related field
- Certification in futures methodologies (e.g., CFIP, Foresight Practitioner)
- Portfolio demonstrating published future scenarios or strategic frameworks
- Experience scaling innovation programs in Fortune 500 or high-growth startups
- Exceptional storytelling skills for complex concepts to diverse audiences
