Responsibilities
- Develop 2026+ technology roadmaps through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with AI, quantum computing, and biotech teams
- Present future scenarios to C-suite and Board of Directors quarterly
- Build strategic partnerships with MIT Media Lab and NASA JPL
- Manage $5M innovation portfolio with quarterly ROI assessments
- Author annual 'Future State' whitepapers read by Fortune 500 executives
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Foresight Framework
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight or innovation leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or similar
- Expertise in emerging tech: AGI, quantum computing, synthetic biology
- Proven track record of commercializing futuristic concepts
- Fluency in scenario planning methodologies and Delphi techniques
- Experience securing federal/state innovation grants ($1M+)
- Portfolio showcasing 3+ future-to-market innovations
