Responsibilities
- Research and analyze emerging technologies (quantum computing, advanced AI, biotech convergence) with 3-5 year market impact potential
- Develop strategic technology roadmaps aligned with business objectives and industry disruption forecasts
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototype development and pilot programs for breakthrough innovations
- Present technology forecasts and strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and investors
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and research labs for early technology access
- Monitor geopolitical, regulatory, and ethical implications of emerging technologies
- Drive innovation culture through internal workshops and technology scouting initiatives
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Strategic Innovation, or related field (PhD preferred)
- Minimum 8 years in technology strategy, R&D leadership, or emerging technology assessment
- Proven track record of successfully implementing disruptive technologies in enterprise environments
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech, neuromorphic computing)
- Exceptional analytical skills with ability to synthesize complex technical and market data
- Executive presence and experience presenting to C-suite and board-level audiences
- Published thought leadership in technology forecasting or innovation strategy
- Proficiency in strategic planning frameworks (e.g., Horizon Scanning, Delphi Method)
