Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies, market shifts, and societal trends impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and implement strategic foresight frameworks including scenario planning, trend analysis, and disruption modeling
- Produce high-impact future-state reports and executive briefings translating complex insights into actionable strategies
- Collaborate with product development teams to integrate future insights into innovation roadmaps and R&D priorities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, industry experts, and academic thought leaders
- Design and facilitate strategic workshops to embed future-thinking across organizational functions
- Quantify future opportunities through market sizing, risk assessment, and ROI modeling
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Innovation, Business Intelligence, or related field; PhD preferred
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or C-suite strategy leadership
- Proven expertise in trend analysis, scenario planning, and disruption modeling methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, biotech, quantum computing) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with experience presenting to executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., WFS, APF) or relevant professional designation
- Published thought leadership in future studies or innovation journals
- Experience scaling foresight frameworks across global organizations
