Responsibilities
- Lead comprehensive horizon scanning to identify emerging technologies and disruptive trends relevant to 2026
- Develop and execute scenario planning frameworks to model potential futures for key business verticals
- Collaborate with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and validate strategic assumptions
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders through compelling data visualizations and narrative storytelling
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry experts
- Author thought leadership publications on future trends and strategic foresight
- Mentor junior analysts in futures research methodologies and critical thinking
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Minimum 7 years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futurist research
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Experience with data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and futures research software
- Proven track record of translating future insights into successful business strategies
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
