Responsibilities
- Develop 5-year technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and organizational goals
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (quantum algorithms, neural interfaces)
- Identify and secure strategic partnerships with academic institutions and tech pioneers
- Conduct competitive analysis and patent landscape assessments for emerging domains
- Present technology strategies to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Mentor junior researchers in cutting-edge methodologies
- Oversee technology incubation programs for disruptive innovations
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in technology strategy or R&D leadership at Fortune 500 scale
- Proven track record in commercializing emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech)
- Deep expertise in at least two future-tech domains (e.g., neuromorphic computing, Web3)
- Strong analytical skills with ability to model complex technology adoption curves
- Exceptional communication skills for translating technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Published research or patents in future technology domains
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
