Responsibilities
- Forecast and analyze global technology, economic, and societal trends impacting 2026+ business landscapes
- Develop multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, Web3)
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future scenarios and innovation priorities
- Author forward-looking thought leadership and whitepapers for industry conferences and publications
- Identify and evaluate disruptive startups, technologies, and partnerships for strategic acquisition
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Present strategic recommendations to the board and executive leadership team
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record of translating trend analysis into successful business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI/ML, quantum computing, synthetic biology, or decentralized systems
- Exceptional analytical and systems-thinking capabilities with quantitative/qualitative research skills
- Experience with scenario planning, horizon scanning, and technology roadmapping methodologies
- Outstanding presentation skills with executive-level communication experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism or technology strategy (required)
