Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual '2026 Horizon Scenarios' forecasting technological, social, and economic disruptions
- Design strategic innovation frameworks for emerging domains including quantum computing and neuro-interfaces
- Lead executive workshops on future-proofing organizational capabilities and talent ecosystems
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs to track cutting-edge research
- Translate complex foresight data into compelling executive presentations and investment recommendations
- Oversee the creation of 'Future Impact Assessments' for new market entries
- Mentor junior strategists in futures thinking methodologies and scenario planning
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field with 7+ years experience
- Proven track record in developing enterprise-level innovation strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in horizon scanning, Delphi methodology, and trend impact analysis
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies (AI, blockchain, synthetic biology) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling abilities to communicate complex future scenarios to diverse stakeholders
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight publications
- Experience with scenario planning tools (e.g., Causal Layered Analysis, STEEP-V)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., from the Association of Professional Futurists)
