Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze global trends impacting 2026+ markets (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps with 5-10 year horizons
- Lead 'Future Labs' - cross-functional innovation sprints prototyping 2026 solutions
- Present foresight insights to executive leadership and board members
- Establish KPIs for future-readiness and track industry disruption indicators
- Partner with R&D to align emerging technologies with long-term business objectives
- Author annual 'State of 2026' industry forecast reports
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategy consulting, futures research, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record developing multi-year strategic frameworks
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI/ML, blockchain, AR/VR)
- Certified Futurist (CFP) or equivalent foresight methodology training
- Exceptional storytelling skills for translating complex futures into narratives
- Experience leading teams in ambiguous, fast-evolving environments
- Published thought leadership in futurism or strategic foresight
- Advanced degree in Business, Technology, or Futures Studies
