Responsibilities
- Anticipate and analyze emerging technology trends (quantum computing, biotech convergence, AI ethics) through horizon scanning
- Develop strategic frameworks for 2026-2030 innovation roadmaps aligned with UN SDGs
- Lead cross-functional workshops to translate futuristic concepts into product roadmaps
- Build scenario models for global megatrends (climate adaptation, demographic shifts)
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-generation solutions
- Author thought leadership publications on future-state ecosystems
- Advise C-suite on disruptive market opportunities and risks
Qualifications
- Minimum 8 years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging technology
- Expertise in horizon scanning methodologies (Delphi analysis, weak signal detection)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Proven track record developing 10-year innovation roadmaps
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (quantum, synthetic biology)
- Certification in Foresight or Strategic Innovation preferred
- Experience with scenario planning tools (STEEP, PESTLE analysis)
- Portfolio demonstrating future-state strategy implementations
