Responsibilities
- Develop and implement 5-10 year strategic foresight frameworks for emerging technologies
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping futuristic solutions (AR/VR, neural interfaces, etc.)
- Analyze global socioeconomic trends to identify disruptive opportunities
- Present futuristic visions to stakeholders through compelling narratives and data visualizations
- Partner with R&D to translate theoretical concepts into viable product roadmaps
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Monitor quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence developments
- Author thought leadership publications on post-2026 societal paradigms
Qualifications
- Master's or PhD in Future Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist consulting
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, AI, biotech)
- Proven track record of developing multi-generational technology roadmaps
- Exceptional data visualization and scenario planning capabilities
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Strong background in ethical frameworks for emerging technologies
- Published author or speaker at global innovation forums
