Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging tech/socioeconomic trends (AI ethics, climate resilience, neuro interfaces) and forecast 3-5 year impacts
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for board-level strategic decisions
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future-state visions
- Author white papers on disruptive innovations for industry thought leadership
- Partner with R&D to prototype solutions for 2026-era challenges
- Monitor global innovation ecosystems and identify strategic partnership opportunities
- Quantify future risks/opportunities using predictive modeling tools
Qualifications
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future studies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership on emerging technology or societal transformation
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Proficiency with AI forecasting tools (e.g., GPT-4, Trendalyzer)
- Experience presenting complex futures to non-technical C-suite audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-strategy implementations
