Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify breakthrough technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps for 2026+ with measurable KPIs and implementation frameworks
- Facilitate executive workshops on future scenarios and strategic foresight methodologies
- Partner with R&D teams to validate and accelerate emerging technology adoption
- Author thought leadership publications and presentations at global innovation forums
- Build and lead a cross-functional innovation council with industry stakeholders
- Quantify future market opportunities and risks using predictive modeling tools
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.) and their societal impacts
- Exceptional scenario planning and trend analysis capabilities with published thought leadership
- Experience advising C-suite executives on long-term strategic transformation
- Strong background in data-driven innovation methodologies (e.g., design thinking, lean startup)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Management, or related field
- Portfolio of successful 5+ year strategic planning implementations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
