Responsibilities
- Develop comprehensive 2026+ technology roadmaps aligned with market trends and business objectives
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping and validating next-gen tech solutions
- Conduct horizon scanning for emerging technologies (quantum computing, neurotech, Web4.0)
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions and research labs
- Create predictive models for technology adoption and market disruption
- Present future technology visions to C-suite and board stakeholders
- Drive innovation culture through hackathons and future-tech incubators
Qualifications
- 10+ years in technology strategy with 5+ years in future-tech planning
- Proven track record of launching breakthrough products (2020-2025)
- Expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (AI, blockchain, biotech, AR/VR)
- Advanced degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or Futurism
- Experience with technology forecasting frameworks (Delphi, Tech S-curves)
- Certified Futurist (CF) or equivalent preferred
- Strong analytical skills with data-driven decision making
- Exceptional communication and executive presentation abilities
