Responsibilities
- Client Acquisition: Identify, prospect, and engage potential clients within the local Houston market to generate new business leads.
- Sales Execution: Conduct product presentations, negotiate terms, and close sales agreements in line with company targets.
- Market Expansion: Collaborate with the regional team to expand our presence into new territories, including potential New York markets.
- Relationship Management: Build and maintain strong, long-term relationships with existing and prospective clients to ensure retention and loyalty.
- Market Analysis: Monitor local market trends and competitor activities to provide actionable insights to management.
- Reporting: Maintain accurate records of sales activities, customer interactions, and pipeline progress in the CRM system.
Qualifications
- Education: High school diploma or GED required; Bachelor’s degree preferred.
- Experience: Minimum 1-2 years of experience in sales, customer service, or retail management is highly desirable.
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills with a focus on persuasion and negotiation.
- Local Knowledge: Must possess a valid driver's license and be willing to travel within the Houston metropolitan area.
- Goal-Oriented: Proven track record of meeting or exceeding sales targets and KPIs.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and familiarity with CRM software (e.g., Salesforce, HubSpot) is a plus.
