Responsibilities
- Analyze global megatrends, technological disruptions, and socio-economic shifts to identify future opportunities and risks
- Develop and maintain strategic foresight frameworks, scenario plans, and horizon scanning systems
- Produce high-impact foresight reports and executive briefings translating complex futures into strategic priorities
- Lead cross-functional workshops to embed future thinking across product development, marketing, and R&D
- Establish and nurture a global network of futurists, technologists, and industry thought leaders
- Quantify future market potential and ROI for emerging technologies and business models
- Advise executive team on long-term strategic decisions and resource allocation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Economics, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic planning, innovation consulting, or futures research with Fortune 500 experience
- Proven track record of developing and implementing successful long-term strategic frameworks
- Expertise in horizon scanning, trend analysis, and scenario planning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex futures for executive audiences
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal impacts
- Published thought leader in futures research with speaking engagements at global conferences
- Strong analytical skills with proficiency in data visualization and futures modeling tools
