Job Description
We are building the operating system for the next era of human-machine interaction. Nexus Horizon is seeking a visionary Spatial Computing Architect to lead the design and implementation of immersive spatial environments. In this role, you will bridge the gap between generative AI, computer vision, and haptic feedback systems to create seamless digital twins of the physical world.
If you are passionate about the future of XR, AR, and MR, and want to define how humans interact with data in 3D space, we want to meet you.
Responsibilities
- Architect and engineer high-performance spatial rendering pipelines using Unity and Unreal Engine.
- Integrate Generative AI models to create dynamic, context-aware spatial assets and environments.
- Collaborate with UX/UI researchers to define intuitive spatial gestures and interaction models.
- Optimize application performance for low-latency, high-fidelity experiences on next-gen head-mounted displays.
- Oversee the implementation of haptic feedback systems and spatial audio spatialization.
- Define technical roadmaps for spatial computing features and ensure scalability across hardware ecosystems.
Qualifications
- 7+ years of experience in software engineering, with at least 4 years in game development or 3D graphics programming.
- Deep expertise in C++, C#, or Rust.
- Proven experience with Unity (URP/HDRP) or Unreal Engine 5, including Shaders and Visual Effects.
- Experience with Spatial Computing APIs (Apple VisionOS, Meta Horizon OS, or similar).
- Strong understanding of computer vision, SLAM, and spatial mapping technologies.
- Experience with cloud-based spatial data synchronization and edge computing.
