Responsibilities
- Architect Advanced Data Pipelines: Design and implement scalable, fault-tolerant pipelines for generating synthetic data that mirrors real-world complexity.
- AI Ethics & Governance: Establish frameworks to ensure synthetic datasets are unbiased, representative, and compliant with emerging global regulations for 2026.
- Collaborate with Quantum Teams: Partner with quantum computing researchers to develop data strategies that optimize for quantum-ready algorithms.
- Model Validation: Rigorously test and validate synthetic data against ground truth to ensure high fidelity and statistical accuracy.
- Optimization Strategy: Continuously refine generation models to reduce computational costs while increasing data utility.
- Technical Leadership: Mentor junior data scientists and conduct code reviews to maintain the highest technical standards across the team.
Qualifications
- Education: Masterβs or PhD in Computer Science, Statistics, Applied Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- Experience: 5+ years of experience in data engineering, machine learning, or synthetic data generation.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency in Python, PyTorch, TensorFlow, and SQL. Experience with libraries like SDV (Synthetic Data Vault) or Gretel.ai is highly preferred.
- Quantum Awareness: Understanding of quantum computing basics and how data structures differ in quantum environments.
- Problem Solving: Demonstrated ability to solve complex statistical problems and optimize large-scale systems.
- Communication: Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to explain complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
