We are on the cusp of a technological revolution. At Aether Dynamics, we are building the software infrastructure for the quantum era. We are seeking a visionary Senior Quantum Software Engineer to lead our R&D efforts in developing scalable quantum algorithms and error correction protocols.
As a key player in our team, you will bridge the gap between theoretical physics and practical software engineering, ensuring our quantum processors deliver unprecedented computational power for real-world applications.
Responsibilities
- Design, implement, and optimize quantum circuits and algorithms using Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Collaborate with theoretical physicists to translate quantum mechanical models into executable code.
- Develop and maintain simulation environments to test quantum algorithms before deployment on hardware.
- Contribute to the open-source quantum computing community and stay ahead of emerging quantum libraries.
- Lead code reviews and mentor junior engineers in best practices for quantum software development.
- Identify and mitigate noise and error rates in quantum systems.
Qualifications
- PhD or Masterβs degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related technical field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software development, with a strong focus on Python.
- Extensive experience with quantum computing frameworks (Qiskit, Cirq, or similar).
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud-based quantum computing platforms (IBM Quantum Experience, AWS Braket, or Google Cirq).
- Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, research-driven environment.
