Responsibilities
- Design and implement novel quantum algorithms for optimization and simulation problems
- Lead quantum hardware integration projects with superconducting and photonic systems
- Develop error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum computing
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to commercialize quantum solutions
- Publish research in Nature/Science journals and present at major conferences
- Mentor junior researchers and establish quantum computing best practices
Qualifications
- PhD in Quantum Physics, Computer Science, or related field with 5+ years industry experience
- Published research in top-tier quantum computing journals/conferences
- Expertise in Qiskit, Cirq, or similar quantum programming frameworks
- Proficiency with quantum circuit optimization and gate-level modeling
- Experience with cryogenic quantum systems or photonic computing
- Strong background in linear algebra and complex analysis
- Track record of developing production-ready quantum algorithms
