Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms for practical commercial applications
- Lead development of error-correction protocols for fault-tolerant quantum systems
- Collaborate with hardware teams to optimize qubit coherence and gate fidelity
- Develop hybrid quantum-classical computing frameworks for enterprise solutions
- Author peer-reviewed research papers and patents in quantum information science
- Mentor junior engineers and drive technical innovation roadmap
- Partner with Fortune 500 clients to solve quantum-resistant security challenges
Qualifications
- PhD in Physics, Computer Science, or related field with quantum specialization
- 5+ years experience in quantum algorithm development or quantum hardware
- Proficiency in Qiskit, Cirq, or equivalent quantum programming frameworks
- Deep understanding of quantum error correction and fault tolerance principles
- Published research in quantum computing or quantum information theory
- Expertise in Python/C++ with high-performance computing optimization
