Responsibilities
- Design and implement quantum algorithms (QAOA, VQE, Grover's Search) to solve complex optimization problems.
- Collaborate with hardware engineers to optimize software for specific quantum processor architectures (NISQ devices).
- Develop and validate error mitigation and error correction protocols.
- Conduct research to identify practical applications of quantum computing in finance, logistics, and cryptography.
- Document research findings and contribute to academic and technical publications.
- Mentor junior engineers and interns in quantum programming best practices.
Qualifications
- Ph.D. or Masterβs degree in Physics, Mathematics, Computer Science, or a related field.
- Extensive experience in quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or Pennylane.
- Strong proficiency in Python and C++ for high-performance simulation.
- Deep understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum information theory.
- Experience with quantum circuit compilation and optimization techniques.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and the ability to work in a fast-paced, agile environment.
