Responsibilities

- Collaborate with cross-functional teams of physicists, data scientists, and hardware engineers to push the boundaries of error correction and noise mitigation.
- Lead code reviews and establish best practices for quantum software development within the engineering organization.
- Stay at the forefront of quantum computing research, evaluating new hardware architectures and integrating them into our pipeline.
- Mentor junior engineers and researchers, fostering a culture of innovation and technical excellence.
Qualifications
- Masterβs or PhD degree in Computer Science, Physics, Mathematics, or a related quantitative field.
- 5+ years of professional experience in software engineering, with a focus on high-performance computing or machine learning.
- Deep proficiency in Python and experience with quantum computing frameworks such as Qiskit, Cirq, or PennyLane.
- Strong understanding of linear algebra, probability theory, and quantum mechanics fundamentals.
- Experience with cloud computing platforms (AWS, Google Cloud, Azure) for deploying quantum workloads.
- Proven track record of leading complex technical projects from conception to deployment.
