Responsibilities
- Develop and implement technology roadmaps for 2026-2030, focusing on AI ethics and human augmentation
- Lead cross-functional teams in prototyping quantum-resistant security frameworks
- Conduct horizon scanning to identify emerging threats and opportunities in synthetic biology
- Present strategic briefings to C-suite executives and government innovation councils
- Author whitepapers on the societal impact of neural interfaces and AGI alignment
- Manage $5M+ innovation budget for experimental technology incubation
- Partner with academic institutions to establish standards for ethical AI development
Qualifications
- PhD in Computer Science, Robotics, or related field with 8+ years in strategic tech planning
- Proven expertise in forecasting technology adoption curves (Gartner/Hype Cycle methodology)
- Published research in quantum computing, neuromorphic engineering, or bioinformatics
- Experience scaling AI/ML systems beyond 10M user endpoints
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks (EU AI Act, US AI Bill of Rights)
- Proficiency in futures thinking tools (scenario planning, Delphi methodology)
- Track record of securing federal innovation grants (DARPA, NSF)
- Fluency in at least one quantum programming language (Qiskit, Cirq)
