Responsibilities
- Develop 5-10 year technological foresight frameworks using predictive modeling and scenario analysis
- Lead interdisciplinary research teams in quantum computing, synthetic biology, and neurotech integration
- Architect ethical AI governance protocols for autonomous systems and human-machine interfaces
- Partner with Fortune 500 CTOs to implement future-proof digital transformation strategies
- Deliver keynote presentations at global tech summits (Davos, Web Summit, CES)
- Drive patent development for emerging technologies with 15+ IP filings annually
- Mentor junior futurists through Horizon's Innovation Academy program
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field with 8+ years experience
- Proven track record of launching commercialized emerging technologies (quantum/AI/biotech)
- Expertise in scenario planning tools (STEEP analysis, cross-impact matrices)
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals (Nature Futures, Tech Trends Quarterly)
- Deep understanding of quantum computing architectures and neural interface protocols
- Certification in AI Ethics (IEEE, ACM) and blockchain consensus mechanisms
- Fluency in at least two programming languages (Python, Rust, or Q#)
