Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year strategic foresight frameworks for 2026+ horizons
- Lead scenario planning workshops identifying disruptive trends across tech, climate, and geopolitics
- Produce actionable insights through horizon scanning and trend analysis
- Partner with R&D to translate foresight into product innovation roadmaps
- Present strategic recommendations to executive stakeholders and boards
- Build and mentor a global network of futurist thought partners
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership content positioning Nexus as a future authority
Qualifications
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, consulting, or innovation leadership
- Proven track record of translating future trends into business strategy
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and trend analysis
- Strong data visualization and storytelling capabilities
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Economics, or related field
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech (AI, quantum, biotech) and societal shifts
- Exceptional communication skills for executive audiences
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) preferred
