Responsibilities
- Develop and execute the 2026 strategic vision framework integrating AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology trends
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and engineering teams
- Produce annual Horizon Scanning Reports identifying disruptive forces with 80%+ accuracy
- Partner with C-suite to translate foresight into actionable business strategy
- Chair the Future Council - an exclusive think tank of 15 global futurists
- Represent the company at Davos, TED, and top-tier industry conferences
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants from NSF, DARPA, and private foundations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech leadership
- Proven track record of predicting major tech disruptions (3+ validated case studies)
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent
- Deep expertise in at least two of: AI ethics, quantum applications, or synthetic biology
- Published thought leadership in Harvard Business Review or equivalent tier
- Experience securing federal grants for R&D initiatives
- Fluency in futures forecasting methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Portfolio demonstrating 2020+ predictions that materialized
