You'll lead horizon-scanning projects, develop scenario-planning frameworks, and cultivate partnerships with academic institutions and industry pioneers to position InnovateHorizon as the vanguard of next-generation solutions.
Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify emerging technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026 business landscapes
- Develop and maintain multi-year strategic roadmaps integrating AI, biotech, and climate adaptation technologies
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to align stakeholders on future vision and innovation priorities
- Author thought leadership publications and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Establish and nurture strategic partnerships with research institutions and industry disruptors
- Analyze geopolitical and economic indicators to anticipate regulatory and market disruptions
- Mentor junior futurists and build an internal foresight capability within the organization
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused technology roles
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related quantitative discipline
- Proven expertise in scenario planning and trend analysis methodologies (e.g., Delphi, Horizon Scanning)
- Deep understanding of emerging technologies: generative AI, quantum computing, and climate tech
- Exceptional communication skills with executive presentation and stakeholder management experience
- Published thought leadership in futurism, technology ethics, or strategic innovation
- Certification in Futures Thinking or relevant strategic foresight program preferred
- Portfolio demonstrating successful 5+ year strategic planning implementations
