Responsibilities
- Architect 2026 strategic roadmaps integrating emerging technologies (quantum AI, neural interfaces, climate tech)
- Lead scenario planning workshops with C-suite executives and government stakeholders
- Develop patent-pending frameworks for ethical tech deployment in sensitive sectors
- Mentor futurist fellows in predictive modeling and trend analysis methodologies
- Secure $5M+ in innovation grants through NSF and DARPA partnerships
- Pioneer carbon-negative tech ecosystems for Fortune 500 clients
- Present at Davos and TED conferences representing Austin's innovation ecosystem
Qualifications
- PhD in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent with 10+ years experience
- Proven track record of scaling tech ventures from concept to $100M+ valuation
- Published thought leadership in Nature Futures or similar high-impact journals
- Expertise in quantum computing applications and biotech convergence models
- Security clearance eligibility for national innovation initiatives
- Fluency in Mandarin and Arabic for global stakeholder engagement
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ technologies deployed at scale since 2020
