Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technology and societal shifts
- Develop actionable strategic roadmaps for emerging domains (AI, biotech, quantum computing)
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops on future scenarios and innovation pathways
- Produce high-impact futurist reports and executive presentations
- Advise leadership on disruptive threats and market opportunities
- Build and maintain a global network of futurists, academics, and industry pioneers
- Integrate future insights into corporate strategy and investment decisions
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic planning, futurism, or innovation consulting
- Proven expertise in emerging technologies and systemic trend analysis
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive audiences
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published thought leadership in futurism/strategy publications
- Experience with scenario planning and strategic foresight methodologies
- Demonstrated ability to translate complex futures into executable strategies
- Strong network in Silicon Valley innovation ecosystems
