Responsibilities
- Lead horizon-scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies and societal shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop scenario-based strategic frameworks for organizational resilience and market positioning
- Facilitate executive workshops and innovation sprints to translate foresight into actionable roadmaps
- Establish quantitative/qualitative methodologies for trend validation and impact assessment
- Author thought leadership publications and deliver keynotes at industry forums
- Partner with R&D teams to prototype future-facing solutions and business models
- Monitor geopolitical, economic, and technological signals affecting long-term strategy
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field
- Minimum 8 years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or future-focused leadership
- Proven expertise in horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech) and their societal implications
- Exceptional storytelling and presentation skills with executive audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful futures projects delivered in complex organizations
- Certification in strategic foresight (e.g., CFIP) strongly preferred
