Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis to identify disruptive technologies and market shifts impacting 2026+ landscapes
- Develop comprehensive innovation roadmaps aligned with corporate vision and emerging market opportunities
- Facilitate cross-functional workshops to translate future insights into product development priorities
- Establish strategic partnerships with academic institutions, startups, and think tanks
- Present future scenarios to executive leadership and drive data-driven decision-making
- Mentor junior innovation specialists and cultivate a forward-thinking organizational culture
- Author thought leadership publications and represent the company at industry forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years of experience in strategic foresight, R&D, or corporate innovation
- Proven track record of translating future trends into commercial products or services
- Expertise in emerging technologies (AI, quantum computing, biotech, etc.)
- Exceptional presentation skills with experience addressing executive audiences
- Strong analytical abilities with proficiency in trend analysis frameworks (e.g., STEEP, Delphi)
- Demonstrated success in leading cross-functional innovation initiatives
- Published author or frequent speaker at innovation conferences
