Responsibilities
- Architect multi-year foresight frameworks using horizon scanning, scenario planning, and trend analysis methodologies
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to translate future insights into tangible product roadmaps
- Pioneer research in emerging domains: quantum-adjacent AI, neural interfaces, and climate-positive tech
- Develop strategic partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Author thought leadership content that positions Nexus as the definitive voice on 2026-era technologies
- Mentor a team of futurist researchers and innovation analysts
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite executives and board members
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Strategic Foresight, Futures Studies, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record developing and implementing future-oriented strategies for Fortune 500 companies
- Expertise in foresight methodologies including Delphi studies, cross-impact matrices, and causal layered analysis
- Deep understanding of exponential technologies (AI, quantum, biotech, energy)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating complex future scenarios
- Published author in peer-reviewed foresight journals or industry publications
- Experience securing multi-million dollar innovation funding
