Responsibilities
- Analyze emerging technologies, geopolitical shifts, and cultural trends to identify disruptive opportunities and threats
- Develop and publish annual Future Outlook reports with actionable strategic recommendations
- Lead cross-functional innovation sprints to prototype solutions for 2030+ challenges
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight into corporate strategy and R&D priorities
- Design and facilitate horizon scanning workshops with global stakeholders
- Build and maintain a proprietary foresight database with predictive analytics capabilities
- Represent 2026 Innovations at industry conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Strategic Foresight, Innovation Management, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years of experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology trend analysis
- Proven track record of translating complex future scenarios into executable business strategies
- Expertise in scenario planning, horizon scanning, and systems thinking methodologies
- Deep knowledge of exponential technologies (AI, quantum computing, synthetic biology)
- Exceptional storytelling and visualization skills for communicating future possibilities
- Experience leading high-impact innovation initiatives in Fortune 500 environments
- Published author or speaker at global futurism/technology conferences
