Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning initiatives to identify disruptive technologies with 2026 commercialization potential
- Develop scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making in AI governance and climate tech
- Facilitate cross-functional innovation sprints with R&D, product, and policy teams
- Produce quarterly trend briefs for Fortune 500 clients and publish in FutureTech Journal
- Architect ethical AI frameworks for autonomous systems and neuro-interfaces
- Mentor junior futurists through our Horizon Academy program
Qualifications
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight with 3+ in tech/energy sectors
- Published thought leadership on quantum adoption or climate tech disruption
- Proficiency in foresight tools (e.g., Delphi, STEEP analysis, Causal Layered Analysis)
- Experience with policy advisory for state/federal tech initiatives
- Portfolio showcasing 2025+ technology roadmaps implemented by major organizations
