Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps with quantifiable impact metrics
- Lead scenario planning for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with product teams to integrate future-proof technologies into commercial offerings
- Present strategic foresight briefings to investors and board members
- Manage $10M+ annual R&D portfolio with ROI-focused allocation
- Establish industry thought leadership through whitepapers and conference keynotes
- Mentor next-gen futurists through our Innovation Academy program
Qualifications
- 15+ years in strategic innovation, futurism, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of launching technologies with >$1B market impact
- Expertise in emerging tech: quantum AI, neuromorphic computing, or synthetic biology
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Published author in peer-reviewed innovation journals
- Experience scaling innovation teams from 10 to 100+ members
- Certification in Strategic Foresight (e.g., CFIP) or equivalent
- Deep understanding of regulatory frameworks for emerging technologies
