Responsibilities
- Develop and execute multi-year innovation roadmaps targeting 2026+ technological inflection points
- Analyze emerging trends (quantum computing, neurotech, climate AI) to identify disruptive opportunities
- Lead cross-functional sprints with engineering, design, and product teams
- Present strategic foresight to C-suite and board members with compelling data visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and R&D labs
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote industry conferences
- Mentor junior futurists using our proprietary Foresight Framework™ methodology
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic innovation, R&D leadership, or futurist roles
- Proven track record of commercializing emerging technologies
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or related field
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (e.g., synthetic biology, AGI, quantum)
- Certification in Strategic Foresight or Innovation Management preferred
- Exceptional data storytelling and scenario planning capabilities
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful future-oriented initiatives
- Experience with horizon scanning tools and trend analysis platforms
