Responsibilities
- Develop and publish annual Horizon Scanning Reports identifying 2026-2030 technology inflection points
- Lead scenario-planning workshops for C-suite executives on future market disruptions
- Design and validate innovation roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and biotech convergence
- Partner with R&D to prototype next-gen human-AI collaborative systems
- Establish KPI frameworks for measuring organizational future-readiness
- Represent company at global futurist forums (World Economic Forum, Singularity University)
- Mentor junior innovation strategists in futures research methodologies
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or related field
- Published research on AI governance, climate tech, or neurotechnology
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ future-proofed commercial products/services
- Certification in Scenario Planning or Technology Foresight (e.g., AC/SCIP)
- Expertise in Delphi methods, causal layered analysis, and weak signal detection
- Experience securing $1M+ budgets for experimental innovation initiatives
- Fluency in data visualization tools (Tableau, Power BI) and Python for trend analysis
