Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning research on AI, quantum computing, biotech, and climate tech trends through 2026
- Develop predictive models and scenario-planning frameworks for C-suite decision-making
- Present strategic foresight findings to executive stakeholders and investor groups
- Design innovation workshops and hackathons to cross-pollinate ideas across departments
- Author thought leadership publications and keynote speeches at global tech forums
- Build and mentor a team of futurist researchers and data scientists
- Partner with product teams to translate foresight into 3-5 year roadmaps
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or emerging tech research
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Systems Thinking, or relevant technical field
- Proven track record of translating trends into commercial opportunities
- Expertise in scenario planning, Delphi methods, and trend analysis frameworks
- Exceptional communication skills for complex technical concepts to diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating published futurist work or industry-shaping predictions
- Experience with AI/ML tools for predictive analytics and trend detection
- Global perspective with cross-cultural collaboration experience
