Responsibilities
- Develop and maintain comprehensive 2026 technology impact assessments across AI, biotech, and quantum computing domains
- Produce strategic foresight reports and scenario-planning frameworks for executive decision-making
- Lead cross-functional workshops to align organizational strategy with future market realities
- Identify and evaluate emerging startups, technologies, and academic research for partnership opportunities
- Represent the company at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
- Mentor junior strategists in futures research methodologies and trend analysis
- Integrate foresight findings into product roadmaps and innovation pipelines
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or technology research
- Proven track record of developing multi-year strategic plans with measurable outcomes
- Deep expertise in at least two of these domains: AI ethics, climate tech adaptation, or neurotech
- Advanced degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field
- Published thought leadership in reputable journals (e.g., Nature Futures, MIT Tech Review)
- Experience with scenario planning tools like STEEP or Horizon Scanning methodologies
- Exceptional communication skills with ability to translate complex concepts for diverse audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating successful implementation of futuristic strategies
