Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams to prototype 2026-ready technologies (quantum interfaces, neural symbiosis systems, climate AI)
- Develop strategic roadmaps for emerging tech adoption across industries
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis in exponential technologies
- Design ethical frameworks for future-facing AI and biotech systems
- Present innovation blueprints to C-suite executives and venture partners
- Manage $2M+ R&D budget for experimental projects
- Author thought leadership on societal impacts of 2026 innovations
Qualifications
- 10+ years in futurism, R&D leadership, or exponential technology strategy
- PhD in relevant field (systems thinking, computational biology, or cognitive science) or equivalent breakthrough experience
- Published research in Nature/Science on future-tech intersections
- Expertise in at least two of: quantum computing, synthetic biology, AGI safety, or climate modeling
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ commercialized future-tech solutions
- Experience advising Fortune 500 boards on 10-year tech strategy
- Fluency in future scenario planning frameworks (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Public speaking record at TED, Davos, or equivalent venues
