Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional teams in developing 5-10 year technology roadmaps for the 2026 Initiative
- Conduct horizon scanning and trend analysis across emerging tech verticals (quantum, bio-convergence, neurotech)
- Design and execute scenario-planning frameworks for disruptive technology adoption
- Present strategic insights to C-suite executives and external stakeholders
- Build partnerships with academic institutions and industry think tanks
- Author whitepapers and thought leadership on future technology impacts
- Mentor junior futurists and foster a culture of innovation
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futures Studies, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 8+ years in strategic foresight, R&D leadership, or emerging technology roles
- Proven track record in translating future trends into actionable business strategies
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum computing, synthetic biology, etc.)
- Exceptional communication skills for diverse technical and non-technical audiences
- Experience with scenario planning methodologies and trend analysis tools
- Published thought leadership in technology or innovation publications
- Portfolio demonstrating successful future-shaping projects
