Responsibilities
- Lead horizon scanning and trend analysis for 2026+ technological and societal shifts
- Develop scenario-based strategic roadmaps for quantum computing, AI ethics, and space commercialization
- Direct cross-functional teams in prototyping next-gen solutions (metaverse, biotech fusion, autonomous systems)
- Present findings to C-suite and board members using data-driven visualizations
- Establish partnerships with academic institutions and government innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in emerging methodologies (e.g., predictive analytics, systems thinking)
Qualifications
- 10+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or advanced R&D leadership
- Expertise in at least two emerging domains: quantum computing, synthetic biology, or neurotech
- Proven track record of translating futuristic concepts into commercialized products
- PhD or Master's in Futures Studies, Systems Engineering, or equivalent field
- Published research in peer-reviewed journals on technological singularity or human augmentation
- Fluency in futures modeling tools (e.g., Delphi, causal layered analysis)
- Experience securing $10M+ in government/private innovation grants
