Responsibilities
- Lead strategic foresight initiatives to identify and analyze emerging technologies impacting 2026 market landscapes
- Develop comprehensive scenario planning models for AI, quantum computing, and biotechnology convergence
- Partner with C-suite executives to integrate foresight findings into corporate strategy and product roadmaps
- Produce high-impact trend reports and white papers published in industry journals
- Design and facilitate innovation workshops with Fortune 500 partners
- Manage a $2M innovation portfolio for prototyping 2026-ready solutions
- Represent Horizon Labs at global futurist conferences and thought leadership forums
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Futurism, Technology Forecasting, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 7+ years in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Proven track record of publishing trend reports in peer-reviewed journals
- Expertise in scenario planning and technology impact assessment methodologies
- Deep knowledge of emerging tech stacks: AI, quantum, synthetic biology, AR/VR
- Experience leading cross-functional teams across geographies and industries
- Exceptional presentation skills for executive and technical audiences
- Portfolio demonstrating 3+ successful innovation initiatives launched in the past 5 years
