Responsibilities
- Analyze global technology trajectories and socioeconomic shifts impacting 2026+ landscape
- Develop predictive frameworks for AI ethics, quantum adoption, and climate tech convergence
- Lead scenario-planning workshops with C-suite executives and industry thought leaders
- Author white papers and trend reports published in top-tier futurist journals
- Collaborate with product teams to integrate future-vision into development roadmaps
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with academic institutions and innovation labs
- Mentor junior futurists in horizon scanning methodologies
Qualifications
- Master's degree in Technology Forecasting, Futures Studies, or related field (PhD preferred)
- 10+ years experience in strategic foresight, innovation consulting, or R&D leadership
- Deep expertise in at least two emerging tech domains (quantum, biotech, AR/VR, etc.)
- Proven track record of published trend analysis and scenario planning
- Exceptional data storytelling skills with executive-level presentation abilities
- Experience with futures research methodologies (Delphi, Horizon Scanning, etc.)
- Portfolio demonstrating impact of future-vision on organizational strategy
