Responsibilities
- Strategic Roadmapping: Define and execute the long-term technical strategy for the 2026 initiative, aligning technology goals with business objectives.
- Emerging Tech Integration: Research, prototype, and integrate next-generation technologies (e.g., advanced AI, quantum-ready protocols) into existing infrastructure.
- System Architecture: Design scalable, resilient, and future-proof enterprise systems that can adapt to rapid market changes.
- Leadership & Mentorship: Lead a team of engineers and strategists, fostering a culture of innovation and continuous learning.
- Stakeholder Management: Collaborate with C-suite executives and product leaders to communicate complex technical concepts and secure buy-in for high-impact projects.
- Risk Assessment: Identify potential technological bottlenecks and implement mitigation strategies to ensure smooth transitions.
Qualifications
- Experience: 10+ years of experience in software architecture, with at least 5 years in a strategic leadership or senior architect role.
- Education: Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field.
- Technical Expertise: Deep understanding of cloud-native architectures (AWS, Azure, GCP) and microservices.
- Innovation Mindset: Demonstrated ability to think beyond current constraints and conceptualize solutions for future needs (e.g., 2026+ timelines).
- Communication: Exceptional verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas to diverse audiences.
- Tools: Proficiency in system design tools (e.g., AWS CloudFormation, Terraform, ArchiMate).
